Description:
At 227 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles west of Last
Chance, or 32 miles north of Limon, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Woodlin School, Last Chance and Lindon.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT Saturday for a
portion of northeast Colorado.
