* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Southeastern Kit Carson County in east central Colorado...
* Until 1000 PM MDT.
* At 855 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Bethune, or 7
miles east of Stratton, moving south at 25 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL KIT
CARSON COUNTY.
HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and three inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.
* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Kit Carson County.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 421 and 434.
Highway 385 between mile markers 170 and 178.

building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
