Description:
At 659 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 9 miles east of Blue Lake to near Las Animas, moving
east at 30 mph. The most intense part of the storm was near and just
north of Fort Lyon.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Las Animas, McClave, Hasty, Neegronda Reservoir, John Martin
Reservoir, Fort Lyon, and Caddoa.
Instruction:

building.
