Kit Carson County in east central Colorado... * Until 700 PM MDT. * At 611 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 13 miles southeast of Cope to 6 miles south of Bethune to 8 miles east of Kit Carson, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Severe thunderstorms will be near... Bethune around 615 PM MDT. Burlington and Cheyenne Wells around 625 PM MDT. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 410 and 450. Highway 385 between mile markers 136 and 206, and near mile marker 211.
