Description:
At 706 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 5
miles east of Julesburg to 13 miles south of Holyoke, moving east at
25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Holyoke, Julesburg, Amherst, Sixteen-Mile Corner and Pleasant
Valley.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.
Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving
conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in
dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep
your foot off the brake.
