* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of west central Colorado, including the following counties, Mesa and Montrose and Utah, including the following counties, Grand and San Juan. * WHEN...Until 345 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1238 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.4 and 0.8 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... mainly rural areas of Southwestern Mesa, Western Montrose, Southeastern Grand and Northeastern San Juan Counties - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
