South central Columbia County in east central New York... * Until 730 PM EDT. * At 643 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Ancram, or 14 miles southwest of Great Barrington, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Torrington, New Hartford, Copake, Pine Plains, Norfolk, Ancram, Canaan, Millerton, Northwest Harwinton, Terryville, New Hartford Center, Ashley Falls, Falls Village, Winsted, Harwinton, Barkhamsted, Salisbury, Goshen, Colebrook, and Cornwall.
