At 1107 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Pawling to near Yorktown Heights. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Danbury, Mahopac, Lake Carmel, Sherman, Brewster, Newtown, Ridgefield, Monroe, Bethel, Brookfield, New Fairfield, Redding, Carmel, Yorktown Heights, and Jefferson Valley.
Instruction: 
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
