* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Northern Connecticut.
* WHEN...From late tonight through Tuesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Urban Flash flooding is also possible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Periods of heavy rain are expected at times late tonight into
Tuesday afternoon. Widespread rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches
are expected into Tuesday. However...narrow bands of
torrential rainfall may result in localized amounts of 4-6
inches of rain inside 6 hours. It remains uncertain
where/when these potential narrow bands of heavy rainfall
setup. However...if they occur they will bring the potential
of urban and/or small stream flash flooding.
