At 655 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bridgeville, or 13 miles west of Georgetown, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Milford, Bridgeville, Ellendale, Andrewsville, Greenwood, and Farmington.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central and southern Delaware...and eastern Maryland. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in Mount Holly NJ. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
