Description:
At 402 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm 7 miles west of Miccosukee Indian Reservation,
or 28 miles east of Ave Maria, moving north at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Miccosukee Indian Reservation, Big Cypress Seminole Reservation,
Miccosukee Service Plaza, and Big Cypress National Preserve.
Instruction:
These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.
