Description:
At 540 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Buckhead Ridge
to Brighton Seminole Reservation to near Ortona. Movement was south
at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Lakeport, Palmdale, Buckhead Ridge, Brighton Seminole Reservation,
Ortona, and Indian Prairie Canal Mouth.
Instruction:
These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.
