Description:
At 346 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Doral to Kendale
Lakes to near Intersection Krome And Kendall Drive. These storms were
nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Miami, Hialeah, Kendall, The Redland, Doral, Miami Springs,
Sweetwater, West Miami, Medley, Westchester, Richmond West,
Fountainbleau, Country Walk, Kendale Lakes, The Hammocks, Olympia
Heights, West Kendall, Intersection Krome And Kendall Drive, Sunset,
and Miami International Airport.
Instruction:
These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.
