Description:
At 655 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles east of Avon Park to Sebring Regional
Airport to 12 miles southwest of Lake Placid. Movement was east at 15
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Sebring, Avon Park, Lake Placid, Sebring Regional Airport, Sylvan
Shores, Lake Istokpoga, Cornwell, Sebring Shores, Lake Josephine,
Placid Lakes, Archbold, Lorida, and Avon Park Air Force Range.
