Shoal River near Mossy Head (CR 1087) affecting Walton County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Shoal River near Mossy Head (CR 1087). * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Water begins to overflow into wooded areas along the river from New Harmony Road westward to Laird Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 14.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:15 PM CDT Monday was 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.0 feet late tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.9 feet on 05/30/2014. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
