At 252 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles northwest of Albany, moving north at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Leesburg, Albany, Putney, Smithville, East Albany, Marine Corps Logistics Base, Turner City, Walker, Warwick, Sasser, Bronwood, Chokee, Radium Springs, Stocks, Forrester, Lockett Crossing, South Albany, Southwest Ga Regional A/P, Palmyra, and Olivers Mill.
