Description:
At 617 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Bill Arp, or 7 miles
southwest of Douglasville, moving northeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
ground lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
light, unsecured objects.

Atlanta, Douglasville, Fayetteville, City of South Fulton, Smyrna,
East Point, Union City, Riverdale, Villa Rica, College Park,
Fairburn, Tyrone, Austell, Hapeville, Palmetto, Chattahoochee Hill,
Lithia Springs, Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, Bill Arp, and Fairplay.
Instruction:
People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
