Description: 
At 515 PM EDT, Doppler Radar detected a large cluster of thunderstorms over Chatham County, including the City of Savannah, drifting to the Southwest. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Emergency Management reports several flooded and closed roads across the area, including Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Bull Street, with several flooded vehicles near the intersection of Abercorn Street and 55th Street. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Pooler, Richmond Hill, Windsor Forest, Hunter Army Airfield, Coffee Bluff, Midtown Savannah, Downtown Savannah, I-16/I-95 Interchange, Hutchinson Island and Montgomery.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
