Description:
At 1247 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Jacksonville to Lenox, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Fitzgerald, Tifton, Ocilla, Enigma, Lenox, Alapaha, Mystic,
Unionville, Eldorado, Gladys, Osierfield, Glory, Harding, Wagon
Wheel, Pinetta, Ashton, Weber, Wray, Bowens Mill, and Vanceville.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Tallahassee.
