At 216 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Waynesboro, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Waynesboro, Hephzibah, Jackson, McBean, Augusta Regional Airport, Shell Bluff Landing, Phinizy Swamp Nature Park, Audubon's Silver Bluff Sanctuary, New Savannah Bluff Lock & Dam Park, Beech Island, Savannah River Site H Canyon, and Bennock Mill.
