At 527 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles north of Griggsville, or 13 miles north of Pittsfield, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This tornado will be near... Griggsville around 535 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by the tornado include Perry, Chambersburg, Valley City and Versailles. This includes the following State Parks... Ray Norbut State Fish and Wildlife Area.
