* Until 545 PM CDT.
* At 502 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Collinsville, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
* Locations impacted include...
Collinsville, Pontoon Beach, Caseyville, Fairview Heights,
Maryville, O'Fallon, Troy, Lebanon, St. Jacob, Summerfield,
Trenton, Highland, Aviston, Albers, St. Rose, Breese and
Germantown.
This includes Interstate 64 in Illinois between exits 12 and 14.
Instruction:
Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
