Description:
At 624 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Sandoval, or 6
miles north of Centralia, moving east at 35 mph. There is another
area of rotation capable of producing a tornado to the northwest of
Kinmundy, IL
HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
SOURCE...Emergency management confirmed tornado.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Wamac, Sandoval, Central City, Junction City, Fairman, Centralia,
Odin, Walnut Hill, Selmaville, Tonti, Salem, Alma, Brubaker, Kell,
Kinmundy, Farina, Iuka, Omega, Stephen Forbes Station and Helm.

This includes Interstate 57 in Illinois between exits 109 and 127.
Instruction:
Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.
