At 611 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Bolton, or 7 miles southwest of Freeport, moving east at 20 mph. While the radar rotation has slightly weakened with this storm, it still has had reports of visible rotation with it. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near... Freeport, Albertus Airport, Bolton, and Stephenson County Fairgrounds around 615 PM CDT. Scioto Mills around 620 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include German Valley and Ridott.
