* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following counties, Ford, Grundy, Iroquois, Kankakee, Kendall and Will and northwest Indiana, including the following counties, Lake IN and Newton. * WHEN...Until 745 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 443 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across portions of the warned area. Up to 2 inches of rain or more have fallen in portions of northern Kankakee County. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. Runoff from the rain that has fallen and the additional rain will result in areas of flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
