...The Flood Warning continues for the following river and locations in Indiana...Illinois... Wabash River at Montezuma, Terre Haute, Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site, Riverton, Vincennes, and Mount Carmel. .Repeat thunderstorms over the southern half of Indiana have brought heavy rainfall, with peak radar indicated amounts of between 1.50 and 2.00 inches southwest of Indianapolis, from Greene County eastward to Brown County, and Knox County eastward to Martin County. Rainfall elsewhere in the southwest quadrant of Indiana typically have been close to one inch. This rainfall will bring points on mid and lower sections of the Wabash River into flood early this week. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Vincennes. * WHEN...From Monday morning to early Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Agricultural lands and some oil fields flood. Several township roads about 1.25 miles south of St. Francesville and River Road between Billett Road and Lincoln Memorial Bridge in Lawrence County are flooded. Extensive flooding of Kimmell Park at Vincennes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 PM EDT Sunday /8:45 PM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 17.8 feet early Tuesday morning.
