Wabash River at New Harmony affecting Gallatin, Wabash, Posey, Gibson and White Counties. .Recent torrential rainfall over the Wabash River basin has resulted in minor flooding at New Harmony. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at New Harmony. * WHEN...Until Thursday evening. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, The river overflows low ground on the Illinois side. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 16.6 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 AM CDT Monday was 16.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Thursday afternoon and continue falling to 5.2 feet Thursday, July 09. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
