Water levels are now falling, and the river is forecast to fall
below flood stage Thursday morning.
For the Wabash River...including New Harmony...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHEN...Until Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, The river overflows low ground on the
Illinois side.

- At 9:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 16.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:30 AM CDT Tuesday was 16.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Thursday morning and continue falling to 4.6 feet
