Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following counties,
Cook, De Kalb, Kane, Kendall, La Salle, Lee and Will and northwest
Indiana, including the following counties, Lake IN and Porter.
* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding
may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may
be flooded. High water likely may recede slowly from flooded areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 645 PM CDT, local law enforcement, emergency dispatch
centers, and highway departments reported flooding across the
area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen from earlier
thunderstorms. While heavy rainfall has ended, some flooding
will be slow to recede. Some streams may continue to rise
over the next few hours.

Chicago, Aurora, Joliet, Naperville, Hammond, Gary,
Bolingbrook, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Romeoville,
Plainfield, Calumet City, Portage, Merrillville, Valparaiso,
Oswego, Chicago Heights, Chicago Lawn and Roseland.

Instruction:
A Flood Warning means flooding is imminent or may already be
occurring. Persons along rivers, creeks, and other waterways should
take immediate precautions to protect life and property.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
