At 411 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Mattoon, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Charleston, Mattoon, Neoga, Windsor, Westfield, Lerna, Janesville, Paradise, Gays, Loxa, Trowbridge, Etna, Fox Ridge State Park, Coles County Airport, and Trilla. This includes the following highways... Interstate 57 between mile markers 170 and 192. Interstate 70 near mile marker 136. This also includes Fox Ridge State Park.
