River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Illinois River at Hardin. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Flood Stage. Lowland flooding of unprotected agricultural land begins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 26.8 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM CDT Wednesday was 26.8 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 26.8 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall early Monday morning. It will rise to 26.7 feet Monday morning. It will then fall again but remain above flood stage. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
