For the Illinois River (Upper)...including La Salle...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to continue. * WHERE...Illinois River from Starved Rock Lock and Dam downstream to confluence with Big Bureau Creek, including the La Salle gauge. * WHEN...Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Agricultural areas in La Salle, Spring Valley, and Peru are inundated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 20.6 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 AM CDT Sunday was 21.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
