Illinois River at Hardin.
Illinois River at Valley City.
River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Illinois River at Meredosia.
* WHEN...Until Monday, July 06.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Beach Road just north of Shady Acres floods
near this height.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 20.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is falling and is expected to continue to
fall. It will fall below flood stage Sunday, July 05.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
