River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Illinois River at Meredosia.
* WHEN...Until late Monday night.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Beach Road just north of Shady Acres floods
near this height.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 19.8 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 9:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 20.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.8 feet
this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday
evening.
