...The National Weather Service in Chicago IL has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Illinois...
East Branch Du Page River at Bolingbrook affecting Will and
DuPage Counties.
* WHAT...At least minor flooding is forecasted to occur.
* WHERE...East Branch Du Page River from Maple Avenue in Lisle
downstream to confluence with West Branch DuPage River, including
the Bolingbrook gauge.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to early Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, DuPage River Greenway Trail is threatened
east of the river near Royce Road in Bolingbrook. Trails
threatened at Green Valley Forest Preserve near Woodridge.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:40 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.6 feet and quickly
rising.
- Forecast...The river is expected to continue rising into at
least Minor flood stage this evening.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Instruction:
A Flood Warning means water levels above flood stage are imminent or
may already be occurring. Persons along rivers and streams in the
warned area should take immediate precautions to protect life and
property.

forecast precipitation 24 hours into the future. Changes to the
rainfall forecast, or any additional rainfall after 24 hours, may
cause changes to these river forecasts.
