South central De Witt County in central Illinois... Macon County in central Illinois... * Until 545 PM CDT. * At 449 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Maroa to near Niantic to near Dawson, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Severe thunderstorms will be near... Decatur, Forsyth, Harristown, Argenta, Illiopolis, Oreana, Niantic, Mechanicsburg, Mount Auburn, and Cisco around 455 PM CDT. Mount Zion, Cerro Gordo, Long Creek, and Decatur Airport around 500 PM CDT. Monticello around 505 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include Bement, Blue Mound, Macon, Hammond, Ivesdale, Dalton City, Atwood, Lovington and Arthur.
