North Central Fayette County in south central Illinois... * Until 815 PM CDT. * At 749 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northeast of Wrights Corner, or 24 miles northeast of Vandalia, moving southeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of North Central Fayette County.
