Description:
At 1110 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Freeport to Baileyville to Milledgville, moving
northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Freeport, Milledgeville, Shannon, German Valley, Ridott, Winneshiek,
Hitt, Carroll County Fairgrounds, Albertus Airport, Bolton, and
Stephenson County Fairgrounds.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
