Description:
At 908 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northwest of
Rosiclare, or 14 miles southeast of Harrisburg, moving southeast at
30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Pope and southeastern Saline Counties.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
