Description:
At 1206 PM CDT, a large severe thunderstorm was located over Villa
Park, or over Elmhurst, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. There have been mulitple reports
of 2 inch hail with this storm!
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Chicago, Aurora, Naperville, Cicero, Schaumburg, Bolingbrook, Des
Plaines, Orland Park, Oak Lawn, Berwyn, Wheaton, Oak Park, Downers
Grove, Elmhurst, Lombard, Bartlett, Ohare Airport, Streamwood, Carol
Stream, Romeoville, Plainfield, Hanover Park, Park Ridge, Calumet
City, and Addison.
