Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana, including the following
counties, Clark, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Harrison, Orange and
Washington and central Kentucky, including the following counties,
Oldham and Trimble.
* WHEN...Until 700 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 356 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Louisville, Jeffersonville, New Albany, Jasper, Madison, La
Grange, English, Bedford, Carefree Town and Clarksville.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
