Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Indiana, including the
following counties, Crawford, Dubois, Orange and Perry.
* WHEN...Until 645 AM EDT /545 AM CDT/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 339 AM EDT /239 AM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.7
and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Jasper, English, Carefree Town, Huntingburg, Ferdinand,
Marengo, Milltown, Holland, Birdseye and Leavenworth.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
