* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Portions of north central and northern Indiana, including the following counties, in north central Indiana, Kosciusko and St. Joseph. In northern Indiana, Elkhart, Marshall and Starke. * WHEN...Until 400 AM EDT /300 AM CDT/. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 223 AM EDT /123 AM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Plymouth, Nappanee, Bremen, Walkerton, Bourbon, Koontz Lake, Locke, La Paz, Lake Of The Woods, Linkville, Inwood, Teegarden, Tyner, Donaldson, Grovertown and Gravelton. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
