At 513 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles southeast of Nashville, or 12 miles southwest of Columbus, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Columbus, Nashville, Elizabethtown, Jonesville, Spurgeons Corner, Azalia, Waymansville, Elkinsville, Stone Head, Gnaw Bone, and Story. This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 53 and 68.
