Description:
At 1015 AM CDT, The heaviest rainfall is moving out of the area for
at least the next several hours. Two day totals of 6 to 8 inches
have led to significant flooding. Waters will likely be slow to
recede.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Evansville, Boonville, Newburgh, Chandler, Melody Hill, Darmstadt
and Kasson.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
