Pike County in southwestern Indiana... * Until 715 PM CDT /815 PM EDT/. * At 422 PM CDT /522 PM EDT/, emergency management reported flash flooding. Floodwaters have entered structures in Oakland City and water rescues have occurred. Between 4 and 10 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Eastern Gibson County and West Central Pike County. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Move to higher ground now! This is an extremely dangerous and life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.
