Porter County in northwestern Indiana... * Until 930 PM CDT. * At 533 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing rainfall rates of up to 2 to 3 inches per hour over the warned area. Rainfall amounts up to 3 inches or more are possible within portions of the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Rapid-onset flooding of creeks, streams, drainage ditches, streets, underpasses, low-lying areas, and other poor drainage areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
