...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Youngs Creek at Amity. East Fork White River at Seymour. White River at Newberry. Muscatatuck River at Vernon. White River at Edwardsport. White River at Petersburg. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana... White River at Elliston. Eel River at Bowling Green. .Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 4 inches across much of the area is bringing minor lowland flooding to middle and lower portions of the White River basin and the East Fork White basin the Seymour area. The White should crest at Elliston Saturday morning and at Petersburg by Monday morning. Flooding may be lengthened or redevelop early in the week from moderate to heavy rainfall that is expected Sunday into Monday which is not included in the current forecasts. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour. * WHEN...Until Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Extensive lowland flooding affecting agricultural lands. Many county and state roads in flood plain become impassable by high water, including SR 235 East of Medora, SR 258 East of Cortland, CR 725 N and possibly SR 39 south of Tampico. High water affects county roads near Vallonia and Shields, Ewing Road near Brownstown, CR 525 N near Seymour wastewater treatment plant, Honeytown Road and possibly SR 250 east of Dudleytown and SR 256 west of Austin. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 11.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 15.9 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
