White River at Edwardsport. White River at Petersburg. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana... White River at Elliston. Eel River at Bowling Green. .Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 4 inches across much of the area is bringing minor lowland flooding to middle and lower portions of the White River basin and the East Fork White basin the Seymour area. The White should crest at Elliston Saturday morning and at Petersburg by Monday morning. Flooding may be lengthened or redevelop early in the week from moderate to heavy rainfall that is expected Sunday into Monday which is not included in the current forecasts. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Edwardsport. * WHEN...From Friday evening to late Monday evening. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Old Vincennes Road and State Road 358 in Daviess County and Schaefer Road in Knox County are impassable. High water affects agricultural bottomlands. During agricultural season this level is of concern to farmers on the unprotected areas along the river. High water affects river cabins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 AM EDT Thursday /6:00 AM CDT Thursday/ the stage was 9.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow evening to a crest of 18.1 feet Saturday evening.
