...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
White River at Elliston, Edwardsport, Newberry and Petersburg.
.Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 4 inches across much of the area is
bringing minor lowland flooding to middle and lower portions of the
White River basin. The White should crest at Elliston this afternoon
and at Petersburg by Monday morning. Flooding may be lengthened or
redevelop early in the week from moderate to heavy rainfall that is
expected Sunday into Monday which is not included in the current
forecasts.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...White River at Petersburg.
* WHEN...From Saturday evening to late Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Flooding affects low agricultural lands,
low oil fields and closes Bottoms Rd...Brothers Rd and East
Governors Road in Knox County. In agricultural season...farmers
are concerned at this stage.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM EDT Friday /9:30 AM CDT Friday/ the stage was
12.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening to a crest of 17.3 feet early Sunday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday
evening.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
